I want the Government to make all public transport free for students in full-time education, whether they are in school, college, or university.
Many families across the UK are already struggling with the rising cost of living, and student transport costs can add even more financial pressure on parents and young people. We believe making public transport free for students would help ease this burden, improve access to education and opportunities, and ensure that no student is disadvantaged because they cannot afford travel costs. We also feel it could encourage greater use of public transport, helping to reduce traffic and support environmental goals.
