Milestones

Add cherry laurel to the list of invasive plants banned from sale and planting in the UK. Launch a strategy to tackle the spread of this invasive exotic shrub across our natural environment.

There are reports that invasive cherry laurel is spreading exponentially across ancient woodland and other natural habitats. We believe the ecological harm arising from the rapid spread of this vigorous exotic shrub is profound and poses an existential threat to our native woodland and wildlife.
