We want the Government to ensure that Rapeseed Oil is listed as an allergen on food packaging. Many brands have switched to Rapeseed without labelling it as a recipe change & this is causing a health issue as many people find they are unable to consume the same foods without stomach upset.

Many people are finding it difficult to navigate shopping as many foods sold in supermarkets have switched to using this cheaper oil which is causing people to have reactions to foods that should otherwise have no issue. Rapeseed Oil is now found in many products such as Greek yoghurt, bread and dried fruits despite not needing oil to make. This petition is to make it so that Rapeseed Oil is listed in bold as an allergen to make it easier for people with IBS and allergic reactions to avoid said foods.
