Many families face unexpected and continuing charges after a loved one dies. We believe there should be a fair national limit on post-death fees

Many families discover only after bereavement that substantial fees may continue to be charged after death or recovered from the deceased's estate. We believe clearer national rules are needed to prevent disproportionate charging practices and protect bereaved families from financial distress. We call on the government to cap post-death charges.
