Many horses are left with no shade, very little water or food tethered in open fields. Some hardly have any grazing and when in severe weather conditions all they do is walk in circles all day. Keeping horses tethered outside with no access to shade, food or drink, should be made a specific offence.
I'm fed up with sitting at home worrying about horses tethered in fields in all weathers and no grazing or access to water. We are having a heatwave at the moment and these poor horses have no shade. If you own a horse, then it should have access to water, shade and food. I'm surprised this is still going on and I think it's cruelty at its worst and I want something done about it.
