Milestones

Allow holders of any visa, including a student and graduate visa, to apply for ILR after 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.

We believe five years of continuous residency in the UK should be legally sufficient to allow people holding Student, Work, or Family visas to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain status. We believe if these people are required to pay Council tax, Income tax, the NHS annual fee, visa application fees, and contribute to the UK economy through payment of housing and cost-of-living expenses, they should have the right to remain in the UK.
