Many student nurses get into thousands of pounds worth of student debt, can’t work alongside placement and get worked to the core, up to 40 hours per week of unpaid work, plus they have to pay for their NMC PIN number at the end.

We believe student nurses need to be paid for the 2300 hours they work during placements. We feel every hour worked on placement deserves at least the same wage as the national minimum wage.
