We call on the Government to make it an offence for any vehicle used for delivery of goods to be left with its doors open whilst the delivery professional is making a delivery.
This is to prevent pets such as cats and dogs entering unnoticed and then becoming unintentionally trapped and removed from their local territory. We believe that many pets are going missing and that this is an avoidable event which should be legislated against so safeguard pets.
