We want the Government to help fund dedicated perinatal hospice services across the country and to ensure families can be informed about perinatal hospice and palliative care options following a life-limiting prenatal diagnosis. We believe this will give families hope.
Such services would provide specialist counselling and emotional support from diagnosis onwards, Improve access to multidisciplinary care for babies with complex medical needs. We believe this will make sure that no family faces this difficult journey alone and will help them realise that the best option isn’t abortion but to give the baby the best quality of life they can.
