We want the UK Government to create a £5,000 annual tax-free allowance for income earned through online marketplaces and side hustles, including eBay, Vinted, Depop and similar platforms.

We want the UK Government to introduce a £5,000 annual tax-free allowance for income earned through online marketplaces. Many people use platforms such as eBay, Vinted, Depop and Etsy to supplement their income during a period of high living costs. We believe a £5,000 tax-free allowance would encourage entrepreneurship, help households manage rising costs and reduce administrative burdens for people earning modest additional income.
