There is currently no routine screening programme on the NHS for pancreatic cancer, which is detected in far too many cases when it is too late to be cured. This affects thousands of families. It is one of the deadliest cancers, yet there is no nationwide, routine screening programme.
The Government should fund routine tests or scans to detect pancreatic cancer earlier which would make it easier to treat.
