Allocate funding to improve NHS fertility testing. This could allow more in-depth investigations for women and men, reduce postcode disparities, and help ensure affordable access to advanced tests before a diagnosis of unexplained infertility is given.
More funding could enable to expansion of NHS fertility testing for women and men before diagnosing unexplained infertility. It could also facilitate more consistent national testing standards, improve access to specialist hormonal, genetic & reproductive health investigations, strengthen male fertility assessments, provide subsidised or capped-cost advanced testing where NHS funding is unavailable, & ensure patients receive clearer information about tests completed & further options available.
