I want the Government to fund the construction of mandatory suicide barriers in all train stations to save lives. I feel suicides at train stations not only impact families and friends, but the staff working on train lines and in stations, as well as the wider community.
My mission is to make it mandatory for all train stations to have suicide barriers to protect vulnerable and suicidal people. Not only could this protect individuals who are suicidal but also train drivers and members of staff. It could also protect commuters who need to travel by trains. Suicide can significantly impact families, friends, and wider communities.
