Milestones

Introduce a law which requires all local authorities in England to provide a minimum of 90 minutes of free parking in town and city centres to help support economic growth and high street businesses.

We believe Britain's independent retailers are the heart of our high streets, supporting jobs, communities and local economies. Yet many town and city centres face declining footfall. Providing 90 minutes of free parking could make it easier for people to visit local shops, encourage local spending, support small businesses and help revitalise high streets across England.
