Review delayed issuing of Remediable Service Statement (RSS) for public sector pension fund claimants. We want these RSSs to be issued without delay alongside a timeframe for payment, and a mandatory notification for claimants about individual case progress throughout the process.

Following the McCloud judgement, which set out the age discriminatory actions of some government schemes, all affected retirees were to be issued RSS addressing how their pension would be compensated if necessary. Currently there is no published timescale for this and people have been waiting 4+ years even to receive a RSS. Others have submitted the RSS and 3+ years later have not received the financial redress.
