I propose bringing the national minimum wage for 18-20 year olds in line with 21 year olds and above. Currently minimum wage for 18-20 year olds is £10.85 while for 21+ year olds its £12.71. I believe it should be the same.

I believe bringing the wage in line with the rest of the adult population can make a difference in mental health in young people, help them get on the property ladder and not be as financially stressed. Also, it can help bring more young adults into work which is becoming more of a problem lately.
