The Government’s White Paper on the future of TV distribution in the UK sets out its proposals to switch to internet-only TV in future. This is likely to have an impact on anyone living in a poor Internet location as it will end the current Freeview service.

The Government's White Paper makes clear that they intend to switch to internet-only TV in the future, which will be a problem for anyone in an internet blackspot. Many elderly people rely on TV as their only company on a daily basis. Once Freeview has gone, we believe it's a small step to charge per view for all TV, taking it away from the poorest in our society. Please help us save this precious service.
