I feel crime victims have been failed for too long and it is time for change. I call on the Government to fund a victim’s portal so victims can track the progress of their case and be able to contact a police officer more easily. This could reduce victim anxiety and trauma.

I would like to see the Government fund the creation of a victim portal where victims can track the progress of their case and be able to contact a police officer on the case to get an update on the case, which I feel could go some way to reducing the anxiety that many victims have endured along with their trauma.
