Currently Clare's Law covers domestic abuse and economic control but pure fraud convictions remain hidden from new partners. This means victims who suspect a partner is a convicted scammer cannot get information from the police. Introducing a 'RIGHT TO ASK' for a financial fraud convictions will protect people and stop scammers finding new victims.
