We call on the Government to introduce legislation recognising reputational abuse, including reputational sexualisation, as a distinct form of abuse in law.

This should include creating a specific criminal offence for deliberately creating or sharing false, manipulated or fabricated content intended to damage the reputation of an innocent person, together with statutory guidance for police, prosecutors, courts and victim support services.
