Milestones

Introduce a progressive annual wealth tax on the top 1%, increase marginal income tax rates for ultra-high earners, and legislate a structural framework to reduce standard working hours, in direct alignment with the macroeconomic models detailed in the 2026 Global Justice Report.

We believe the 2026 Global Justice Report proves societies can lower their material footprint and boost well-being via wealth compression by implementing progressive wealth and income taxes which would actively curb extreme inequality. Furthermore, structurally shortening the standard working week should shift focus from resource-intensive consumption to public health and education. The UK Government has the direct legislative power to reform these tax and labour laws to build a fairer, sustainable economy.
