I want increased safeguarding for vulnerable people from social media creators offering mental health and domestic violence support but have no qualifications to do so. The Government should review the regulation of such online creators, to ensure they are not taking advantage of vulnerable people.

Some creators groom vulnerable people by offering emotional support, mental health advice and support for domestic abuse, without expertise to do so. I believe that these creators pay for large followings so that they appear popular. I think some of these vulnerable people believe the content creator loves them or cares for them and trust them. In my view we need to put an end to this grooming behaviour online by reviewing regulations of online creators
