The social media companies accepting payment from illegal scam investment companies should be stopped from doing this. They should be treated as publishers & made responsible for what they promote to the public.

The Government needs to take sufficient action against social media companies to prevent innocent members of the public being taken in by scam investment companies, apparently endorsed or run by celebrities. Innocent people lose their life savings believing these scam adverts. Celebrities used to endorse these schemes without their consent have their reputations damaged. We need to do better by those harmed by these illegal scams & stop criminals/social media companies making money from them.
