We ask the Government to introduce GCSE and A-Level qualifications in the Albanian language. Many children attend Albanian supplementary schools and would benefit from a nationally recognised qualification in their mother tongue.

Community-led Albanian language schools across the UK have demonstrated sustained student participation and strong educational outcomes. Introducing GCSE and A-Level Albanian would promote equality of opportunity, support bilingualism, preserve cultural heritage, and recognise the contribution of the Albanian-speaking community to British society.
