Milestones

We want the Government to include education about AI , including its environmental impact, within England's national curriculum. This should be taught through existing compulsory subjects such as Computing, Science, PSHE or Careers education, rather than creating a separate subject.

Teaching AI in schools is vital so young people understand how it works and its environmental impact. Large AI systems use huge amounts of energy and water, and students must learn how this affects their future so they can make informed, responsible decisions. It is really necessary to be teaching the younger generation what impact AI has on their futures and earth its self.
