We call on the Government to introduce regulation to safeguard AI's impact on jobs. We think such legislation should require employers in sectors where there has been 40%+ AI-driven job losses to reduce working hours by 20% with no pay cut, protecting workers and sharing AI's benefits fairly.

We think AI's benefits must be shared fairly. We call on the UK Government to regulate AI by requiring employers in sectors with 40%+ job losses to reduce working hours by 20% with no pay cut. Long weekends and free time for all—not just the wealthy. In our view this protects jobs and ensures workers fairly share in AI's economic value.
