Milestones

We call on the Government to amend immigration and deportation law so that long-term residence protections cannot prevent deportation where a non-British citizen has been convicted of serious offences including child sexual exploitation, rape, trafficking, murder, or serious violence.

The law should ensure that public safety and victims’ rights are given proper weight in cases involving grave criminal offending.
