We urge the UK Government to apply diplomatic pressure on Pakistan to end human rights abuses, protect free and fair elections, restore freedom of speech, stop political persecution and forced statements, uphold the rule of law, and ensure democratic rights for all citizens.

We ask the UK Government to use diplomatic pressure on Pakistan’s military leadership and Government to protect human rights, safeguard democracy, ensure free and fair elections, end political persecution, ensure the release of any political prisoners or guarantee fair trials, protect freedom of speech, media and peaceful protest, stop any possible use of forced political statements, uphold the rule of law, ensure an independent judiciary, and investigate any alleged human rights abuses.
