Milestones

We want the Government to require front-of-pack labelling for all food and drink products that have a religious certification, including halal, non-halal, kosher, and non-kosher. Clear labelling could help everyone make informed choices, including those with religious dietary needs.

We want recognised religious certification symbols clearly displayed on the front of all food and drink products, so consumers can easily see when an item meets these standards. We also want a simple red line through the symbol to show when a product does not hold a religious certification. Clear, universal front of pack symbols could give everyone straightforward, transparent information when choosing food.
