We believe motorcycle owners across the country are targeted and endangered everyday by organised gangs of thieves. We call on the Government to fund dedicated regional task forces to manage a coordinated approach in tackling bike & motorcycle thieves and keeping all road users safe.

We feel there needs to be a coordinated approach to tackling thefts and bike jackings. Thieves can not only cost bikers millions in damage and loss every year; they can also put them at risk of injury and death. Despite convictions of bike and motorcycle thieves, thefts and bike jackings continue on a daily basis. We call on the Government to fund the establishment of specialised and dedicated regional task forces to tackle this.
