We believe that each animal's suffering from Abuse/Cruelty or Neglect, should be charged to reflect this. One charge per animal. We also request that sentencing guidelines reflect single charge per single animal. Every animal deserves justice and stronger sentences will act as a deterrent.

Currently animal cruelty laws and sentencing is not harsh enough. We still continue to see mass harm coming to multiple animals. Each animal should be treated as a separate case and charged accordingly. It cannot continue whereby harming one animal or 50 animals incurs the same sentence. Each animal deserves justice and we call upon Parliament to make the changes for all animals and to stop mass cruelty of animals to go unnoticed again.
