We believe the current rules are outdated and there is no need for them anymore, as cars are much safer now than they were 60yrs ago - so remove the speed limit on motorways.
Current rules were brought in 1965 when cars were much different and more dangerous than they are to us now. We believe cars have been much safer for years, and there’s no reason at all to not remove the speed limit, with a lot of European countries upping theirs. Make the English motorways like most German autobahns. Having driven on there myself a quite a few times, I feel it is far safer driving there than UK motorways.
