Introduce legislation that requires all ticketed attractions, events, and experience providers to prominently display the mandatory arrival time at the primary point of sale, rather than disclosing early arrival requirements in post-purchase confirmation emails.
Currently, many companies advertise tickets for a specific time, only to inform consumers after purchase that they must arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior for check-in or briefings, often under threat of losing their slot without a refund. We believe this practice is misleading and disrupts consumers' ability to accurately plan. We want the government to update consumer protection regulations to ensure that the time displayed before buying is the exact time the consumer is expected to be on the premises.
