We believe a UK Sovereign Wealth Fund should be established as an independent, professionally managed investment fund owned by the British people. Initial capital could come from revenues generated by natural resources, energy projects, selected government asset sales, and other one-off receipts. The fund should invest globally and reinvest returns, creating a permanent national asset that strengthens public finances and benefits both current and future generations.
