We call on the Government to place restrictions on the location and number of vape shops, as we believe this will improve health and safety of communities. We also call on vape shop signs and vape product packaging to be made plain in line with tobacco products and sellers.
We believe the following restrictions should be placed on these vape shops: • No vape shop should operate within 200 metres of residential housing • No vape shop should operate within 800 metres of 0-18 education spaces such as nurseries, primary or secondary schools • Vape shops to be exempt from using "skilled worker" visas • Vape shops signs and vape product packaging to be made plain, similar to how to tobacco products are now
