We call on the Government to introduce a zero rate of VAT on goods manufactured in the UK and sold domestically. This could encourage people to buy British-made products, protect skilled jobs, boost investment, strengthen UK manufacturing and support long-term economic growth.
We want the Government to introduce a zero rate of VAT on goods manufactured in the UK and sold in the UK. We believe this would encourage consumers and retailers to buy British-made products, helping to protect manufacturing jobs, support investment, strengthen local supply chains and rebuild communities that rely on UK industry, while making British businesses more competitive against imports.
