Milestones

Hold a national public vote on the future of the UK's Head of State, allowing the public to decide whether the current hereditary system should continue or, if changed, how the Head of State should be selected democratically.

The UK’s Head of State is currently determined through hereditary succession. We believe the public should have a direct say. The Government and Parliament should hold a national vote on whether the hereditary system should continue. If the public chooses a democratic system, Parliament should establish a democratic process for selecting the Head of State.
